Kuhn is promoting its all-new Aurock as a ‘transition’ drill, for buyers seeking to switch from min-till to no-till with the one machine.
With this in mind, the drill is modular in build, so a large number of options can be added or removed — hence there’s no set Aurock pricing. From the front, a typical spec might be crimp roller for sowing into cover crops; low disturbance 430mm or wavy 460mm opener discs; full width tyre packer or just central transport wheels; double-disc seeding unit; 900mm offset press wheels; and a following harrow.
Hopper options are a 3,500-litre tank with single metering or a 5,000-litre split hopper with double metering. Power requirement is 180hp (no-till), 250hp (min-till).
