US media sources have reported that Claas has entered into an agreement with Agile Manufacturing for this company to provide tractor preparation services for North America. We understand that Agile will manufacture certain components and prepare Claas tractors for transport to customers.  Claas is best known in North America for its Jaguar self-propelled forage harvesters and Lexion combines. The launch of the Xerion tractor at the Farm Progress show two years ago completed its offering as a full-liner. The deal with Agile, which makes tractor loaders and attachments, means that much of the work to prepare tractors for the North American market can now be done locally at Agile’s new South Dakota facility, in Worthing.
