Dutch manufacturer Schuitemaker has expanded the Rapide forage wagon range with two new compact models.
More compact variants of the Rapide 7 and 9 respectively, the shorter construction and adapted box length of the new 6 and 8 is said to result in an ideal combination of manoeuvrability and low ground pressure, while maintaining the same configuration options, performance and cut quality.

Like the Rapide 7 and 9, the new models are available in Pro, Performance or Ultimate versions with a chop length of 40mm (50 blades). The dual-purpose wagons are also available as XC versions with 80 blades and a chop length of 24mm.
They can also be equipped with a hydraulically movable front wall in combination with the patented RapidRelease system. This increases the capacity by 4m3, for a maximum capacity of 39m³ (Rapide 6) and 50m³ (Rapide 8).
The Rapide range now comprises four models. Body lengths are 6.7 and 7.7m as a tandem and 8.7 and 9.7m with triple axles. All can be shod with R26.5 and R30.5 tyres.
