The refreshed exterior is not the only change to the two-row, self-propelled Dewulf ZB2 top lifting carrot and parsnip harvester. There is also a new and larger bunker.

Aimed at growers seeking increased performance in all conditions, the larger 10m³ bunker (10% increase on the previous version) is based on the design of the R3060.

The fixed front section means it no longer needs to be fully raised when unloading. This allows the machine to harvest and unload non-stop, as the discharge conveyor does not need to be folded away during unloading.

With a maximum discharge height of 4.1m (minimum 1.48m), repositioning the discharge point a metre further from the machine harvester more room between it and the trailer.

The discharge conveyor to the bunker has also been changed. Inspired by the GBII, it now includes an additional foldable section. This allows the bunker to fold in, and the three-degrees reduction in inclination is said to increase capacity and result in gentler product handling.

The upgraded harvesting belt units have a new upper frame and machine uses the same high-speed reversible cutters as the recently launched ZK4 and GK3. The extra rear platform provides easy access to the reversible cutter sets.

Other ZB2 updates include an improved optional two-section sieving unit. This includes an extra drop for increased cleaning in challenging conditions. The modified rear axle can accommodate either 90cm triangular tracks or wheels.

Steering remains fixed at 12°, regardless of the configuration, and the use of spacers between the axle and machine frame simplifies switching between tracks and wheels.
