The new row unit is the big change on the newly styled Tempo and Proceed planters, Väderstad returning to the drawing board to develop it.
The result of many years of development, testing and fine-tuning, the long list of new features includes setting planting depth from a prescription map, easier seed tube change and switching between crops, an even narrower seed slot, new electronics and seed hopper, and upgraded seed meters with one-handed seed meter opening.
The new row unit is available in both a central-fill format with a 5-litre mini-hopper, as well as a standard guise with a larger seed hopper on the row unit.
One of the novelties on the Väderstad stand at Agritechnica, the new row unit will be fitted to all Tempo and Proceed V 24 planters from mid-2026 when the current unit will be phased out.
