News has reached us that British manufacturer Househam Sprayers faces an uncertain future after calling in the administrators.
Sandy Kinninmonth and James Prior of FRP Advisory have been appointed as joint administrators for the stricken Woodhall Spa-based company. The administrators are said to be assessing the options for the future of the Lincolnshire business, which in 2022 secured the backing of the Recovery Loan Scheme.
Founded in 1970, Househam made its first self-propelled sprayer in the mid-1980s. Today, the four self-propelled ranges; Spirit, Air-Ride, Harrier and Predator, span tank capacities from 3,000 to 6,000l. Boom widths are up to 36.
The future of the company’s 50 staff is uncertain.
