A new Valtra T6 reached a speed of 87km/hr at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria.
The T6 completed a lap of the circuit in three minutes and 36.4 seconds; a record for a tractor.
The Finnish tractor manufacturer carried out the speed test together with tyre manufacturer Nokian Tyres to demonstrate the performance of the new T Series.
Valtra emphasizes that the T6 does not normally drive that fast. The maximum speed of the standard tractor is 57km/hr.
