The Skatemaster trailing shoe distributor is said to be even more powerful, precise and user-friendly than the existing Skate.
Offered in working widths of 12m and 15m, the newcomer shares much of its spec of the Skate. This includes the narrow 2.6m transport width, intelligent control system (prepped for ISObus operation), short discharge hoses, and the low power and oil requirement of 20l/min during spreading.
New features on the Skatemaster include boom collision protection as standard, and the floating position of the folding cylinders is said to result in good ground contour following.
The folding speed of the wings has been improved, as has access to the distributor and auger for easier maintenance and cleaning. The 115mm diameter auger option provides more cutting power in slurry with a high fibre content.
