Landquip has launched the XFR range of compact mounted sprayers. Boom widths are from 12 and 15m and tank capacities are up to 1,200l.
Developed following requests from the market for a quality built and high specification sprayer for small to medium arable and vegetable growers, the new range is suited to 80 to 150hp tractors.

Sitting below the Suffolk manufacturer’s current mounted aluminium boom (18 to 30m) machines, the XRF is described as a compact close-coupled unit with good weight distribution (a 1,000l 12m XRF weighs 850kg).
Available in capacities of 800, 1,000 or 1,200l, the shape of the tank helps to lower the centre of gravity and the high-grade polyethylene is said to be easy to clean. The same material is used for the 65l wash tank and 20l hand wash tank, and 30l swing out low level chemical induction bowl complete with can wash, hopper wash, and agitation jet, are all standard.

Requiring one double acting tractor spool valve, transport width of the close-coupled heavy duty cross rear fold boom is 2.6m. Transport height of the 12m model is 3.1m (15m/3.4m).
Equipped with stainless spray lines, mono or tri-jet (optional) nozzle bodies can be specified fitted with ISO colour coded spray tips in a hard-wearing polymer. Both left- and right-hand booms have independent spring suspension, two-directional break-back tips and adjustable protection skid.

A high lift height mast enables boom spray heights from 30cm to 2.1m using a single acting tractor spool valve. Three, five or seven electric switching sections can be specified, as can GPS rate control, GPS mapping and auto section control, and a wide range of different pump sizes. Prices start from £12,750 + VAT.
