Weidemann reckons to have set new standards in efficiency and comfort with its redesigned four-model range of wheel loaders.
Optionally available with loading arms or telescopic boom, the 2090, 2090T, 3090 and 3090T offer lift heights from 3.24 to 3.39m (telescopic versions from 4.30 to 4.98m).
Highlights of the 90 series models include the Dynamic Loading Assistance package. This comprises five functions; automatic bucket return, automatic retraction of the bucket when the boom is raised, vibrating function, lift height limiter, and tele-retract. The latter automatically retracts the telescopic arm on the 2090T and 3090T at the push of a button.
Object detection uses ultrasonic sensors to scan the rear area of the machine, and when reversing, warns the operator of obstacles both on the display and acoustically. It is also possible to specify a rear-view camera.
LED work lights and coming home lighting are standard. Additional functions provided by the performance lighting package include extra LED work lights and a dimming function.
The four-post cab, panoramic rear window and sloping engine hood are said to provide the operator with good rear visibility. The operating console moves with the seat and has an integrated 7-inch display and joystick.
There are new storage options, and a mobile phone holder (charger optional). The heated and ventilated seat has automatic weight detection and low-frequency suspension. Air conditioning is optional.
The transversely installed Rehlko Stage V engines use both a DPF and DOC. Outputs are 2090/2090T (68hp) and 3090/3090T (75hp). Diesel tank capacity on all models is 80 litres. Speeds of up to 40km/hr (first time in the 4t 2090/2090T models) can be achieved using variable hydrostatic transmission Power Drive without the need to change gear or mode in all models.
Electronic Controlled Drive provides auto and eco modes as standard. Optional modes include attachments (for operating hydraulic attachments) and M-Drive (to optimise loading cycles).
The standard spec includes a lockable toolbox and a manual parking brake (multi-disc brake with an electric parking brake optional).
