Held roughly six months after Agritechnica, the popularity of Amazone’s Amatechnica field day continues to increase and this year’s edition was attended by around 4,000 German farmers, contractors and sales partners, and another 2,000 international visitors. Staged close to the factory at Hasbergen-Gaste, the main objective of the event was to show all the Agritechnica innovations, and as well as the 65 machines on static display, visitors were treated to a 31-machine drive past (included a 12 m Catros+ 12003-2TS compact disc harrow). Another 16 machines could be seen in action in the field, and in addition to the nine further technical innovations which debuted at Amatechnica, visitors were also able to catch up on all the latest precision farming developments.
