Deutz-Fahr has enlarged the 6-Series Agrotron range with three four-pot models – the 6155.4 (156hp), 6165.4 (164hp) and 6175.4 (171hp). First seen by dealers at the opening of the new tractor factory at Lauingen recently, the four-cylinder models share their looks with the six-cylinder tractors introduced a year ago.
Outputs from the Stage IV Deutz TCD 4.1 block in the four-pot versions are similar to the three smaller six-cylinder 6155, 6165 and 6175 models, allowing customers in the same power band to choose between a shorter and lighter four-cyl tractor or a longer and slightly heavier six potter version.
Like the six-cylinder models, the three newcomers are available with three transmission options – powershift, RCShift and TTV. With a wheelbase of 2.54m, the 6-Series .4 models can be ballasted to a total weight of 11.5t. There is no news on when they are coming to the UK.
