A Fendt Ideal 9T has set a new Brazilian harvesting record processing 2,599t of maize grain in 24 hours.

Coupled to a 27-row GTS X25 header, the Ideal also broke the eight-and 12-hour Brazilian harvesting records with 912.7t and 1,247.7t, respectively.

Brazil is the third largest producer and the second largest exporter of maize grain in the world, and the record was established at the Recanto Farm and verified by RankBrasil – the Brazilian book of records.

Operating without breaks, with a change of driver after 12 hours, output was approx. 108tph, and checks carried out throughout the day pointed to insignificant grain losses. The combine worked at a constant speed of around 9km/hr and harvested 235.2ha. Fuel consumption was 9.17l/hr.
