Lely sold its grass machine equipment division to AGCO to concentrate on new milk and feeding technologies. The first visible sign of this is a deal with Dutch firm Trioliet to add the TU (Turbobuster) 180 XL silage cutter to its feeding portfolio.
Effective immediately, the 1.10m-deep block (max. volume 3.4m³) cut by the re-badged Lely BC 180XL is said to be ideal for filling automatic feeding system kitchens, such as Lely’s Vector. Sold through the Lely dealer network, the 180XL can be fitted to wheeled loaders, telehandlers and tractor loaders.
