The firm’s first self-propelled crop sprayer will be previewed on Kverneland Ireland’s stand at this week’s Irish National Ploughing championships. Sourced from Alamo Group Europe sister company Kellands, the low-ground pressure Agribuggy A280 will be available through McConnel’s UK worldwide distributor and dealer network from Q1, 2018. Complementing McConnel’s growing range of arable and grassland machinery, the deal opens up new opportunities for the Agribuggy with a wider international customer base.
Powered by a Cummins 2.8 litre 148hp engine, the A280 is equipped with a 2,700 litre spray tank, and offered with boom widths from 12-24m. The official UK launch will take place at LAMMA, and Kellands will continue to sell its own branded version of the Agribuggy alongside its Multidrive range of multi-purpose all-terrain load carriers.
