Higher outputs, more efficient stone and clod separation and improved serviceability, are all claimed for Uni-PLUS destoner Standen Engineering will launch at Cereals tomorrow. Replacing the previous Unistar and Uniweb models, the newcomer is available in 1500mm or 1700mm working widths and different versions to suit all bed specifications. Built around an all-new steel chassis design, there is a choice of double-action Stars over UnderWeb system with the option of a Front Web, or as an All Web machine with four separating webs. The manufacturer reckons setting the machine at a slightly steeper operational angle helps to improve performance. The Uni-PLUS’s axle steering angle has been increased from 24 degrees to 30 degrees for improved maneuverability, and large gas strut supported doors provide easy access to areas requiring servicing. Optional equipment includes a revised design VariFlow web for improved clod break-down and downhill operation. A hydraulically activated boulder box is also available.
