Krone is expanding its header range for the Big X with the EasyFlow Plus for grass and XCollect 750-2 for maize and wholecrop silage.

With a working width of 7.5m, the two-part row-independent maize header feeds plants in a straight line running in a longitudinal direction without any deflections or additional transfer points. The more even crop flow not only improves the chop quality, says Krone, but also performs well in lodged crops.

Transport width is 3.0m, and the optional integrated transport chassis reduces the load on the forager’s front axle. Other options include an integrated front guard with lighting. This automatically secures the header during the folding process.

Available in working widths of 3.0m and 3.8m, the pick-up on the EasyFlow Plus uses a tine rotor without a cam track. Plastic scrapers and stainless-steel wear plates improve the crop flow, and a large crop guide roller and a movable swath guide plate are said to ensure an even crop flow, even in heavy crops.

The drive chains are lubricated automatically. The transport auger has been given a maintenance-free slip clutch and the driveline and gearbox are both of a stronger design.
