The YTO Group is using the French show to preview a number of tractors from the Mancel brand; a new name in the farm machinery world.

Assembled at the former Argo Tractors transmission facility in Saint-Dizier, which the Chinese company acquired a few years ago, the Mancel F5 Series comprises four models from 110hp to 145hp.

Described as simple, robust medium-spec tractors for mixed farms, all models are powered by four-pot 4.5-litre FPT Stage V (SCR) blocks. The rear axle and four-stage powershift comes from YTO, the suspended front axle from Carraro (there is a cab suspension option), and the standard spec includes a rear view camera.

The current control lay out in the cab will change, which is the reason why the doors of all seven tractors on the stand are locked. The plan is to use the rest of this year to finalise the development and testing, and recruit dealers.

The planned launch in France is the end of this year/early 2020. The earliest the tractors are likely to appear in the UK is sometime 2021. If you are coming to SIMA, which starts today, then Mancel’s stand is in hall 4.
