Although it remains unusual for any Househam sprayer to leave the company’s production site in Leadenham, Lincolnshire, with a completely standard specification, the basic build of all machines has followed a well-documented path. This means that selecting a used example, for a particular budget and application, is not as complicated as it may initially appear.
The first points to consider are tank capacity and boom size, and then work on from this to establish other basic requirements. Early models had no suspension and, by current standards, pretty basic cabs. But in terms of serviceability the actual running gear is well up to scratch
