Austrian manufacturer Pöttinger has added a new pneumatic drill to its seeding line-up — a semi-mounted Aerosem VT, with a power harrow beneath that’s responsible for rustling up a decent seedbed
Up until now, Pöttinger’s Aerosem power harrow combi was only sold as a fully mounted machine. Not so much of an issue on a rigid machine, but, once you start going to wider hydraulic folding models, it becomes a whole other ball game, with axle load limitations quickly reached once you start to romp up to road speeds. And then there’s the issue of carrying all of that weight when things turn wet.
