Pöttinger is now giving you the option of a plastic skid in place of the usual wheeled bogie on its centre-delivery rakes. We compared the two systems
Back at Agritechnica 2019, Pöttinger caused a bit of a stir in the grass rake scene. Instead of the usual bogie with several gauge wheels, the Austrians introduced plastic skids for the Top 842C twinrotor rake. Last summer we were able to test the skid rake and compare it with an identical model sporting conventional gauge wheels.
