AgVantage has strengthened its specialist crop machinery offering after being appointed as a dealer for Bauer irrigation equipment.
Many of our existing customers already operate Bauer equipment, so being able to support them with new machines, parts and service is a natural progression for us, comments Andy Carse, managing director of AgVantage.
“Irrigation is an incredibly important part of growing potatoes and other high-value crops, so Bauer fits extremely well alongside the machinery and services we already provide,” he says.
Adrian Tindall, Bauer UK & Ireland sales manager, says there is a strong overlap between the new dealer’s existing customer base and users of irrigation equipment, particularly within the potato and vegetable sectors.
“We believe that makes this an excellent fit for both businesses, he says. “Andy and the AgVantage team have ambitious plans for the business and we look forward to working closely with them to develop Bauer irrigation equipment sales and provide first-class support to customers.”
