JF Hudson is fundraising for Parkinson’s disease by giving away one of its bespoke tractor attachments.

The North Yorkshire based agricultural engineer is offering a Crop Roller and Compact Front Box to one lucky winner in exchange for donations to Parkinson’s Care and Support UK (PCSUK), a charity that focuses on improving the lives of those affected by Parkinson’s.

Earlier this year, PCSUK opened the world’s first Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy. The ground-breaking new centre could be central to the future of how Parkinson’s is treated in the UK, giving hundreds of patients and their families access to the specialist additional care they need.

JF Hudson has chosen the cause because the mother of managing director, James Hudson, was diagnosed with the disease in 2020. “Having the new centre provides facilities and support here in the UK which will make it so much easier for people,” he said. “Mum recently had to travel to Italy to access the sort of treatment and therapies that the new centre will offer.”

Participants are asked to donate £10 (plus optional Gift Aid) to enter the draw. A winner will be drawn at random on January 27, 2024, the date marking the tenth anniversary of JF Hudson trading.

Finished in the colours of the PCSUK logo, the 1.6m-wide Crop Roller comes with a 1.2m-wide powder coated Compact Front Box. Both attachments fit to the front linkage of any tractor make and model.
