With a floor height of 1.10m, the Galion bale trailer from French manufacturer Leboulch is claimed as the lowest on the market.

Made at the factory in La Vieille-Lyre, Normandy, the five model range spans lengths from 8 to nearly 12m, and is rated for capacities from 10 to 21 tonnes.

Multiple positions for the front and rear ladders allows it to transport of both round and square bales. The Galion can also be equipped with retractable side ladders with optional self-deploying extensions to cover a height of up to 3.67m.

The turntable and ladders are galvanised, and the trailer can be equipped with dual-line air or hydraulic brakes. Both lock the wheels when the trailer is unhitched from the tractor. The braking system also allows the operator to manually adjust the load to one of three settings: empty, half-loaded or fully loaded.

Other options include an automatic corrector, which calculates the vehicle’s load, and adjusts the braking force according to the speed.

Leboulch is a brand of Belgian manufacturer Joskin.
