Hesston started building big balers in 1978. The business first passed to Fiat, then to Case IH and now rests with AGCO, which in 2012 delivered the first XD — Xtra Density — models. Producing bales from a 1.2m x 0.9m chamber, this descendant of the original 4800 baler line gained the ‘ProCut’ system in 2015.
