As on-farm horsepower has gone up, having a decent offering in the 200-300hp bracket has become essential for any serious tractor manufacturer. While it sells the 8,200kg, 181kW/246hp 7250 TTV and the 11,800kg, 217kW/295hp 9290 TTV models, there was a noticeable gap in the Deutz-Fahr product range, and this has now been plugged by the 8280 TTV with a max output of 211kW/287hp and weighing in at 9,500kg.
